Laura Collett - Ambassadrice Alogo

A few months ago, we already introduced new technical and practical features to our interfaces. (You can read and re-read the dedicated article here.) Each new feature is added to all your sessions, including the oldest ones. Don’t forget to update your Alogo App to benefit from them!

In this second half of the year 2022, we have chosen to develop further the part related to the monitoring and follow-up of the horse’s health and well-being, which are subjects at the heart of the preoccupations of all riders and horse professionals. Here are the recent improvements made:

  1. The Alogo monitoring calendar

Directly visible when you open your application, it allows you to note all the treatments and care given to each horse and thus correlate the Alogo Move Pro locomotions data with them.

2. Rehabilitation protocols

Equine therapists and veterinarians are now able to add and create shared protocols with their clients, visible from the Alogo’s App in the horse’s profile.

They then receive the locomotion data of the horses under protocol during the different steps and sessions performed. Thus, they are able to evaluate and adjust the protocol remotely according to the evolution of the movement data from each horse in rehabilitation!

3. New “direction” feature

To prevent injuries, optimize your sessions by working equally on both hands! Thanks to Alogo Move Pro, observe during your sessions the % of left and right turns or the % spent in straight lines thanks to this new feature.

To have accurate Data, be careful to put your sensor centered on your horse. (And, if possible, please tight your girth equally on each side.)

4. Improvement of the “Balance” section

When a significant change in balance occurs, a “⚠️” warning signal is highlighted. If this change is recurrent over several sessions when it did not appear before, we advise you to show your horse to the therapist or veterinarian of your choice to prevent a potential injury.

5. Improvement of the “Horses” tab

You can now easily compare the progress and changes of your horses’ locomotion in their profile by choosing a specific time period. The exact data of each parameter is now also available here.

6. Speed analysis from the ” trace ” section

Analyze the changes in rhythm during a session, a dressage program, a jumping or an eventing course! How was your pace? Where did you gain/lose time? Etc.

To measure this, go to the ” Trace” section, click on “⚡️” on the left of the dedicated field, and check the colors of the trace on the selected portion! (From yellow: slow, to red: very fast.)

We are constantly bringing new features and improvements to our interfaces. We will keep you in touch with the next evolutions! 😉
